AHPA established the Foundation for Education and Research on Botanicals (AHPA-ERB Foundation) as a 501(c)(3) foundation to promote education and research on medicinal, therapeutic, and health-promoting herbs.
The AHPA Foundation for Education and Research on Botanicals (ERB Foundation) seeks to support a broad range of projects and efforts that support botanical research and education. The ERB Foundation funds education and research on medicinal, therapeutic, and health-promoting herbs. Specifically, projects that inform and promote best industry practices and sustain the future of botanicals and the herbal products industry for current and future generations.
The ERB Foundation requests proposals to award grants to eligible applicants in order to enhance and promote knowledge and understanding of herbs important to commerce in the U.S.
The AHPA ERB Foundation is committed to preserving the public’s trust that the research supported by us is conducted without bias and with the highest scientific and ethical standards. We believe that managing financial and other conflicts of interest is key to assuring the public that the AHPA Foundation and the institutions we support are taking a rigorous approach to ensuring that the design, conduct, and reporting of research funded under AHPA Foundation grants will be free from bias resulting from investigator financial conflicts of interest.
