After much consideration, ASA has decided to move this year’s Unity Conference from an in-person conference to an online conference that will take place on Friday, March 27 for the safety of all participants during this coronavirus pandemic. We know this is a big disappointment that we won’t be able to engage with each other in person, but our priority is the safety and well-being of everyone involved. That said, Unity 2020 is too important to not engage with our partners and champions, so we are excited to bring you our great content in an online format so you and others can continue to participate and engage with our community!
ASA’s online conference will include our panel discussions so you and others can enjoy the great dialogue and expertise of leading experts. More information will be coming about the online conference within the next week both on ASA’s website and via email. Think of it like a conference in the comfort of your home or office! Should you have any questions regarding the 2020 Unity Conference, please reach out to our conference team at email@example.com. Otherwise, stay tuned for more details regarding March 27!
Every year, Americans for Safe Access (ASA) Unity Conference holds its conference with the purpose of bringing patients, caregivers, scientists, researchers, advocates, and representatives from the cannabis industry to Washington, D.C. to hear the latest updates on medical cannabis and meet with members of Congress and their staff to urge them to legalize medical cannabis at the federal level.
Our 2019 conference focused on "The Price of Being a Medical Cannabis Patient," addressing the significant financial and social barriers that patients still face trying to access medical cannabis. You can view the video below for a sense of this unique conference experience.
