No business is immune to the threat of a ransomware attack regardless of its size. For small businesses, the potential impact could prove devastating. The American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) will host a webinar on December 16, 2020 (1-3pm ET) to explore what to do before, during and after a ransomware attack.
Organizations must take vigilant measures to safeguard and defend against malware attacks. If not, one can expect business to drastically be disrupted, pay high remediation costs, have brands severely diminished and hard-earned reputations tarnished. Solutions extend beyond simply deleting suspicious looking emails and links. Phishers are far more sophisticated, and if hacked, automatically paying the ransom doesn’t guarantee you will regain access to your data.
The webinar will be presented at no charge to AHPA members. We hope you will attend and join in the discussion to better understand How Safe is Your Data? and what steps to take to protect your investment.
The presenters will discuss preventative measures to take to help protect your computer systems and data from an attack. They will also provide a case study on how to navigate business during and after an attack. We will hear what types of problems are caused, and any lingering effects. Network security, identity and access management, and other topics will be addressed.
