The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has stated its desire to have Congress modernize dietary supplement regulation by imposing a mandatory product listing (MPL) requirement. The American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) also has interest in potential regulatory modernization, provided that such change actually benefits consumers. Now, changes need to be made in order to advance health with education and access to dietary supplements.
