Feather Jones is a Clinical Herbalist in Western Herbalism and is botanical field trip instructor for the Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, AZ. She currently sits on the Admissions Review Advisory Committee for the American Herbalist Guild. Feather also owns and operates Canyon Spirit Botanical Ventures that specializes in Rocky Mountain and Sonoran desert herb walks, botanical field trips, and yearlong private herbal mentorship programs.

Roy Upton has been working professionally as an herbalist for more than 30 years. He is trained in Ayurvedic, traditional Chinese, and Western herbal medicine, is a specialist in the medicinal plants of the Caribbean, and has an extensive knowledge and Native American ethnobotany. Roy is the founder and Executive Director of the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia, director of the California-based herbal company Planetary Herbals, has authored a number of scientific papers and texts on various topics of herbal medicine, and is an internationally acclaimed lecturer. Roy has been leading medicinal plant walks at the Fullerton Arboretum for more than 20 years. He resides in Soquel, CA.

David Winston is an internationally known lecturer, author, ethnobotanist and the founder of Herbalist & Alchemist. For over 45 years, David has been studying, practicing, teaching and researching Chinese, Western/Eclectic and Southeastern American herbal traditions. David was one of the professional herbalists who founded the American Herbalists Guild, the first professional herbalists’ organization in the US, which certifies clinical herbalists. He is the clinical herbal consultant to hundreds of prominent physicians (MDs, NDs, DOs, DCs) throughout the US, Canada and Europe. David has authored hundreds of articles and a number of books on herbs.
